Expired plate leads to drug, gun charges

A traffic stop has led to narcotics and gun charges being leveled against a man officers say was carrying methamphetamine. The suspect, Ronald Lee Wagnor, 39, has been bound to the grand jury on charges of possession of meth, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and possession of a weapon during a dangerous felony.Wagnor was pulled over by sheriff’s investigator Steven Carpenter for having an expired tag on his car. During a subsequent conversation with the officer, Wagnor reportedly admitted to having methamphetamine with him.
