The estimated cost of the skate park has ramped up to $155,000. Currently within the proposed budget for McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department for the upcoming fiscal year is $65,000 for the skate park.“That’s for concrete pad, fencing and light,” Parks and Recreation director Scott McCord said to Alderman Kate Alsbrook when she questioned a line item in his proposed budget. A grant for $90,000 will be used for ramps and other amenities to be purchased from American Ramp Company.
