A drunk driver who tried to elude police on foot through the Walmart parking lot has been given four months in jail. The man, Jeremy L. Williams, 46, entered guilty pleas before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to charges of resisting arrest, DUI and violation of probation. He was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI Class and lose his driver license for one year on his new charges.
