A man who really didn’t want to go back to jail fought tooth-and-nail with police Tuesday afternoon near River Park Hospital, his fight ending up also getting his friend in trouble.The reluctant fugitive, Bradley R. Elrod, 34, is charged with resisting arrest and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver of the car he was riding in, Travis R. Butcher, 32, is charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Butcher was pulled over on Cadillac Lane Tuesday afternoon after McMinnville Police Sgt. Ben Cantrell noticed that Elrod was a passenger in the Toyota Camry. Elrod was wanted for arrest on outstanding warrants.
