Driver arrested after crash
Sheriffs Sgt. Kelly Carter investigates the Sunday afternoon wreck atop Harrison Ferry Mountain that sent two to the hospital. The driver of the car was later arrested.

A man was arrested Sunday after he flipped his car atop Harrison Ferry Mountain after slamming into a guard rail, injuring himself and his passenger.
The driver, Anthony Wagner, 46, of Decherd was arrested on the charge of violating an order of protection because his passenger, Sonya Dodd, 37, of Rainsville, Ala., was the person he was ordered by the court to stay away from. Both were transported to Saint Thomas River Park Hospital by ambulance for noncritical injuries.
According to Highway Patrolman Wade Myers, the wreck happened around 2:30 p.m. on Highway 8 near the Warren-Van Buren County line. Wagner was traveling northbound (toward McMinnville) in a 2004 Nissan Altima on a straight stretch of road when he ran off the road for unknown reasons and struck the end of a guard rail. The car crumpled the metal rail like an accordion and flipped onto its top, coming to rest in the emergency lane.
The trooper said he is unsure what caused Wagner to run off the road. In addition to arresting him for violating the order of protection, he also cited him for violation of the due care law.
