Animals provide valuable companionship and bring joy. Express your love with a pet caricature and support a worthy cause.

Helping Animals of Warren County (HAWC) is holding a new fundraiser that will provide a lasting memory for pet parents. The organization has partnered with an individual who has agreed to produce Pet Cartoon Pictures as a fundraiser.

“We have an awesome opportunity for people to support us,” said Hollie Cox, president of Helping Animals of Warren County. “One of our volunteers has offered to create cartoonish pictures of people’s pets. For a $15 donation, she can take a pet picture and create another for you. They are super cute and one of a kind.”

Individuals requesting more than one picture will receive a discount. The donation will be $10 per picture for those making more than one request.

Additional funds are needed so the organization can continue its efforts in providing low cost spay and neuter programs.

“Due to most local veterinarians being closed or limiting appointments, we are having to pay out more for spay and neuter services and having to travel out of county to low cost clinics,” said Cox. “We are needing funds to help cover our costs and still provide low cost spay and neuter for everyone. We are still offering our free dog house program as well and funds are needed for it.”

Payments must be made before the pictures can be created. Those can be made via PayPal https://www.paypal.me/HelpingAnimalsOfWarr,  or mailed to P.O. Box 65, TN 37111, or given to any HAWC member. Despite the avenue taken, please make sure to note the funds are being made for a pet picture.

Pictures must be emailed to helpinganimalsofwc@gmail.com, send via messenger to Helping Animals of Warren County’s Facebook page, or sent by text to 931-743-7666. Please include the pet’s name, your name and phone number where you can be reached.

Once the picture is complete they can be emailed or picked up. Unless an alternate date and location is agreed upon, pictures will be available July 25 during a second fundraiser held by HAWC. A second annual Taco Bar is tentatively set for July 25 at the Loyal Order of the Moose, located at 2851 Smithville Highway, from 5-7 p.m. Please specify which delivery option is preferred.

Pet Cartoon Pictures are only available through the middle of July. Reserve a spot today.
