Chairman of the Warren County Democratic Party Joseph Moore announced that the Democratic Party will be hosting their own caucus to nominate a Democratic candidate for the vacant District 2 County Commission seat. 

The caucus will be on Monday, Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Warren County Administrative Offices Building on Locust Street. Its purpose is to allow voters from District 2 to nominate their Democratic nominee.

Nominees will be accepted from the floor.

All Democrats in Warren County are invited to participate. At the caucus, only Democratic voters will be allowed to vote. Qualifications: Must have voted in two of the four last Democratic Primaries and a signed affidavit stating that you are a Democrat (provided). 

Moore says voters will be evaluated to ensure they meet the criteria to vote based on their voting records.

The nominee for District 2 will be selected that night.
