Two days remain to place a bid on dozens of dazzling Christmas trees on display at Three Star Mall for the annual Wonderland of Trees.

The week-long fundraiser ends Saturday with a full schedule of entertainment ready to take center stage Friday night and all day Saturday.

“It’s really a beautiful display,” said volunteer Tara Santucci, referring to the holiday décor which fills the mall.

Money raised during Wonderland of Trees benefits Caring Hearts United, a nonprofit which provides goody bags to hospice patients on five holidays throughout the year.

Bingo was the entertainment offered Tuesday night and Wonderland of Trees founder Dianne Sneed reports all 150 Bingo cards were sold.

“We learned that we have to buy more Bingo cards for next year,” said Sneed. “This year has been tons of fun.”

More fun awaits. An entertainment program called Country Christmas to Remember is set for Friday night beginning at 6 p.m. Four performers are on the schedule. Saturday will feature entertainment all day long, including students from Paula’s Dance Academy.

The sweet shop is bursting with pies, cookies and other homemade treats. Flavored coffee is available for the first time.

“We’ve sold hundreds of dollars just today,” said Sneed.
