With Christmas three weeks away, the Southern Standard is once again offering to be the liaison for letters to Santa Claus.
Received on Nov. 17 was the first one, which came from Colton Anderson.
Dear Santa,
My name is Colton. I have been good this year. I would like a ball-pit and do not forget my little brother Cooper please.”
– Colton Anderson
The second letter received is from Kayden Kistner who made a Christmas wish list, asking for “Pogo it. Doc Mcstuffin. Play set. Barbie Microphone, Baby Allue. So say doggy. Go me."
Letters to Santa will be printed in December issues of the Standard. Thousands of letters have been printed since the tradition began decades ago.
The newspaper is currently accepting Letters to Santa. They can be dropped off or mailed to Letters to Santa, P.O. Box 150, McMinnville, TN 37111.
The deadline to assure publication is Dec. 8. While a date must be set, the Standard will make every attempt to publish all letters received.
