Deadly threat lands Redmon back in jail

A war of words between local businessman Gerald Wayne “Jack” Redmon, 46, on parole for stabbing a man at the VFW, has landed him back in jail for violation of probation, while dentist Robert Kent Bewick, 63, had assault charges taken against him by Redmon for the verbal altercation.Bewick cites fear of bodily injury in his warrant against Redmon. The dentist claims he recorded Redmon making threats against him over the phone. Prior to the alleged threats, Redmon reportedly made a comment to Bewick when the dentist took medication to Redmon, the medication intended for the dentist’s ex-girlfriend.“I should put five bullets in your skull,” Bewick claims Redmon told him.“You are (expletive) done,” Redmon reportedly says.
