Mother Nature hit Warren County with both fists Friday night, battering the area with an arsenal of rain, wind and hail.Two waves of storms ripped through the county, the first around 7:30 p.m. and the second around three hours later."I was in Sparta with some friends when my neighbor called and said I better get home because there was a tree on my house," said Todd Serre of 619 West End Avenue. "When I got here, I couldn't open the front door. It had knocked the house off its foundation.
