Cosmetic upgrades are leading to more expenditures at Warren County Administrative Offices.The county Building and Grounds Committee has approved the expenditure of up to $1,500 for new carpet mats at the entrances of the building to match new carpet that was recently installed. “We’ve got new carpet and we want to get new mats to match the carpet,” said Commissioner Carl E. Bouldin.The old carpet’s replacement was prompted by buckling or rippling that was creating a tripping hazard. It was replaced with carpet tiles of a neutral color.
