New hours at Warren County Administrative Offices are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Warren County government has adopted a new county work policy that sets new hours of operation for many county offices.

New hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at Warren County Administrative Offices. Those hours are also in effect at Warren County Courthouse.

Per the county policy, department directors may extend office hours as needed, depending on demand.

The new policy was adopted in an effort to make the work schedule more uniform for many county employees. In addition to the 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule, each employee will have one hour for lunch for 37.5 total hours of work each week.

County employees are paid for 37.5 hours of work, not 40.

While most county offices will adopt the new hours, county employees with the Sheriff’s Department, Highway Department and Ambulance Service work different schedules and will continue with those schedules.
