Warren County commissioners could be feeling financial pressure. After 13 years without a tax increase, a 10-cent property tax hike is under consideration.The county Budget and Finance Committee met Tuesday to review the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year and members did not like what they saw, prompting them to vote for a tax increase from $1.96 to $2.06.The measure passed 3-2. Voting in favor of the tax increase were Commissioners Ken Martin, Diane Starkey and Carl E. Bouldin.
