Bigbee Trail Clean Up (1) copy.jpg
Gathering at Sally’s Alley to do trail maintenance Saturday were many volunteers from the community. Here pictured on one of the various trails that meander next to the Barren Fork all the way to Rocket Park are members of WCHS’s Junior ROTC and Interact. Dr. Wally Bigbee, Sr. was directing the operations pictured here third from right.
The Bigbee River Trail here in McMinnville held its annual cleanup day Saturday morning. Volunteers from the community including Warren County’s Master Gardeners, Jr. ROTC and Interact stayed busy from 8 a.m. until noon working hard to replace wood chips along the trails, chain sawing large branches out of the way and removing massive amounts of debris.
