Bethel Hill Baptist Church Homecoming will take place. Service starts at 11 a.m. with Bro. John Padgett bringing the message. Singing will be by the Rangers from Portland at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served immediately following church. For more information, call 473-7651.

Westwood Church of Christ will have its free clothing giveaway from 8 to 10 a.m.


Central High School Class of 1952 will be having its monthly get-together at 12:30 p.m. at Nana’s Kountry Kupboard on Sunnyside Heights. They extend an invitation to all of the classmates to try and attend.


SATURDAY, SEPT. 21

Cedar Grove is having its monthly supper at 5 p.m. The menu includes pork loin, meatloaf, vegetables, dessert, drink, and rolls. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children.


Smartt Assembly of God will be holding a cruise-in from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 5542 Manchester Highway. Breakfast and lunch items will be available to purchase with free admission and a free pro wrestling exhibition. For more information, call (931) 743-7195.

McMinnville Alanon meets Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7 to 8 p.m. at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church on Faulkner Springs Road.


Warren County High School class of 1979 will be holding its 40th class reunion on Sept. 28 at the Country Club. 

Social hour begins at 6 p.m., a group photo will be at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. 

The cost is $40 per person. Money can be mailed to PO Box 8056, McMinnville, TN 37110.  The class will also be attending the Homecoming football game on Sept. 27 with a social at Smooth Rapids after the game.
