The Rock Island book review gathering is set for July 17 at the Rock Island Cumberland Presbyterian Church beginning at 2 p.m. The speaker for this month’s meeting is Tom Markham from Nashville’s Montgomery Bell Academy with a presentation of “A Tour of the South’s Great Writers.” All are encouraged to join the group on the porch for discussion after the meeting.
