The 26th annual Project Graduation Nursery Sale will take place at Bobby Ray Elementary on Friday, April 19 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday, April 20 from 8 a.m. until noon. SATURDAY, APRIL 20

Champion Chevrolet Easter Egg Hunt will take place. The first egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. and the second will start at 1 p.m. There will also be food, bounce houses and face painting. There will be six golden eggs hidden at each egg hunt. This event will take place rain or shine. For more information, call 473-1535.


The WCGHA April Members Meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at the Association Office at 201 Locust Street. The guest speaker will be Cody Prince presenting “The History of High Funeral Home” and everyone is welcome.

The deadline to register for Generations sixth annual 5K Color Run and get a free T-shirt is April 22. There will be a benefit supper and auction at Fairview CIC for the Irving College eighth-grade class on April 27 at 5 p.m. For children 6 years old and under, the cost is $5 and for adults the cost is $7. The menu is turkey and dressing or chicken fillet with choice of mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, roll and cranberry sauce, drink and dessert.
