Christ Community Church will be offering a free Thanksgiving meal and non-denominational service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Milner Recreation Center, 500 Garfield Street. There will also be bluegrass gospel music. Everyone is welcome.
Monday, Nov. 15
A Community Resources Day will be offered on the first floor of McMinnville City Hall from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Local organizations such as Warren County Senior Center, Caring Hearts United, UCHRA, Warren County Emergency Food Bank, Families in Crisis and Meals on Wheels, will be on hand to provide information about the services they offer.
The 11th annual Wonderland of Trees begins Monday and continues through Saturday, Nov. 20 at Three Star Mall.
Tuesday, Nov. 16
The monthly get-together of Central High School class of 1952 will be held at Gondola Restaurant at noon. Classmates are urged to attend.
Wednesday, Nov. 17
Harmony House is sponsoring a COVID vaccine clinic for all persons eligible based on CDC guidelines. The clinic will be offered at CHEER Mental Health on Omni Drive from 2 to 5 p.m.
The Monthly Book Review at Rock Island Presbyterian Church will be held at 2 p.m. White County author Sanda Ayers will be the guest presenter. Sanda is a recognized author of children’s books including the “Tommy Tractor” series and will be sharing her story of how she became a writer.
Saturday, Nov. 20
Warren County Genealogical and Historical Association Members Meeting at Warren County Administration Building in its Early Voting Room. The meeting begins at 2 p.m. Guest speaker Brad Walker will be offering a presentation on Family Bibles and how to use the information in them.
Sunday, Nov. 21
Christian recording artist and retreat speaker Todd Braschler will be performing at Dayspring Community Church of God at 9:30 a.m. The church is located at 4295 Smithville Highway. Everyone is welcome.

First Presbyterian Church of McMinnville will be providing free meals on Thanksgiving Day from 10:30 to noon. Call the church at 473-2690 by Nov. 22 to reserve a meal. Meals are pick-up only.
Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held on Tuesday and Thursday nights each week from 7 to 8 p.m. Meetings are held in the basement of St. Matthew Episcopal Church in McMinnville. The church is located at 105 Edgewood Avenue.
