OCTOBER 26

The Cruis’n for Critters 2024 and Adopt1 event is set for Oct. 26. Proceeds from the event benefit Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Adopt1 sponsorships will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at WCACAC’s premises located at 69 Paws Trail. The Cruis’n event will take place at 225 Cadillac Lane from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.


Dayspring Community Church’s trunk-or-treat event will be held on Oct. 26 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 4295 Smithville Highway.


OCTOBER 31

Rock Island Community Center will be holding its trunk-or-treat event on Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 2886 Pine Bluff Road in Rock Island. A trunk decorating contest will have winners for first and second place.


NOVEMBER 2

The 2024 Beginning Beekeeper’s Class sponsored by Warren Co. Beekeepers Association will be accepting registrations at 8 a.m. on Nov. 2. The class will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude as approximately 3 p.m. The class is $20 to attend and includes UT publication Beekeeping in Tennessee, refreshments and materials. Hive construction, bee biology and life cycles, disease and insect issues and honey production and extraction will be discussed in the class. This class will take place in the Magnolia Room of Warren County Administrative Building. To register, UT-TSU Extension can be contacted at (931) 473-8484.


NOVEMBER 3

Bethel Hill Baptist Church will be hosting a revival from Nov. 3 through Nov. 6 beginning at 6:30 p.m. nightly. Brother Dean Northcutt will be serving as evangelist. Bethel Hill Baptist Church is located at 1137 W. Green Hill Road.
