There are plenty of ways to relax at Magness Library. Board of Trustees members have added one more with the purchase of a chair dedicated to W.S. “Billy” Lively Jr. “It’s a beautiful chair and it’s very comfortable,” said Magness Library director Brad Walker. “It’s a wonderful addition to the Community Room.”Lively gave many years of dedicated service to the library, as a resident of the community as an elected official of local government.Magness Library Board of Trustees chair Pat Bigbee says Lively helped make the library what it is today.
