If you wanted to run so hard you turned blue, Generations held a 5K just for you on Saturday.Fortunately, turning blue had nothing to do with the level of exertion and everything to do with the paint thrown on runners as they dashed through the 3.2-mile course in the Generations Color Run.WCHS distance runner Christian Locke pulled away from the field to capture first place in the race held in the Civic Center area. For his efforts, Locke earned something few local races offer – a $50 cash prize to the winner.Former Van Buren County basketball star Lakelyn Bouldin was one of the nearly 70 competitors. She recently finished her freshman year of college basketball playing for UT-Chattanooga.“We had a really good season,” said Bouldin, who led Van Buren County to the state tournament her senior year.
