Proceeds from this run will be used to help service recipients at the Generations homes of Campbell Lodge, Wood House, and Magnolia Wilma to be able to participate in activities. The Color Run is a 5K event. At every mile participants will be covered in different colors.
There’s a finish-line party complete with refreshments, a Dr Pepper booth, and music from The Sound Machine.
The race starts at 7:30 a.m. in the back parking lot of McMinnville Civic Center. Racers are asked to check in by 7 a.m.
Generations will hold a warm-up party with its own interpretation of Richard Simmons. Any person, of any fitness level or age, may enter. The registration deadline is April 26 to get a T-shirt. Participants can register up to race day and at the race, but will not get a T-shirt if they are past the deadline.
The cost is $25, which includes a T-shirt, bottled water and two paint packets to throw at each other during the end-of-run party. To register, go to USA Gym, or online at (a $2 fee applies to online registration).
