City officials are trying to spruce up downtown with an evergreen. The annual search has begun for a tree to be the centerpiece of holiday activities in downtown McMinnville.“If you have a tree that fits our needs, give us a call,” said McMinnville Public Works assistant director Brad Hennessee. “We are looking around for one.”Trees need to be approximately 25 to 30 feet tall.
