City looks to apply love to tennis courts' faults

McMinnville Parks and Recreation Departments four outdoor tennis courts have seen better days. Plans at this time are to completely remove two and construct new courts.
McMinnville is looking to serve up new outdoor tennis courts.“For tennis courts, we put in $100,000,” said McMinnville Parks and Recreation director Scott McCord, when presenting his proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year. “That will do just two courts. We are looking at redoing the two courts on the upper end near Hoover-Millraney Field.”Work would include city employees ripping everything out and the city hiring a company to place concrete and construct a new court.“So, we would remove the old asphalt and everything else would be done by someone else?” asked Alderman Steve Harvey.
