New exercise equipment for Milner Recreation Center was declined over a need for more research during last week’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting. In the development of the Parks and Recreation department’s budget for 2024-25, funding was set aside to replace the current gym equipment at Milner, which is reportedly decades old and in need of retirement.
