Criminal court cases were heard by Judge Bart Stanley in Circuit Court Wednesday, Aug. 14. Included in Wednesday’s action:

• Stephanie Denise Drake pleaded guilty to violation of probation and was sentenced to serve 120 days, with jail credit since June 22. She will be returned to probation.

• Terry Hanvey was sentenced to serve 90 days of a one-year sentence for violation of the sex offender registry and must pay $350 plus costs. This sentence runs consecutive to any other charges.

• Darrell Stembridge admitted to violation of probation and was sentenced to 120 days, and will be returned to probation.

• Aidan James Curry pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to serve 90 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence pay costs and have no contact with the victim. He also pleaded guilty to interference with emergency communications and was sentenced to serve 90 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, and pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and received aa six-month sentence, to serve 90 days. All these sentences run concurrently, and Curry will be released on time served and must complete the Open Door recovery program.

• Amanda Marie Esslinger was sentenced to serve 60 days and have her probation extended two years in the TNROCS program for violation of probation.

• Randy Harris was sentenced to two years’ probation, a $75 fine plus costs for hindering a secured creditor. He was sentenced to four years’ probation and a $75 fine for vandalism, and two years’ probation and a $75 fine for burglary of a motor vehicle. All counts run concurrent. Harris must also pay $7,500 restitution to Lassiter’s, Inc., and will be eligible for judicial diversion if he successfully completes probation and all court orders.

• Gavin Shaw pleaded guilty to possession of .5 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and was sentenced to eight years in jail to serve 364 days as a Range I offender, fined $2,000 plus costs.
