Drug offenders received sentences ranging from straight probation to 11 years in prison during sentencing recently by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley. Included in drug sentencing:James M. Cansler was directed to serve 11 years and pay $2,000 plus costs for possession of meth and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.Kathy Ann Bowdoin was sentenced to serve 10 years in prison and pay $2,000 plus costs for possession of meth with intent to sell or deliver.Eric Dawayne Melson was ordered to serve one year of a nine-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for delivery of morphine.Curtis Reed was instructed to serve 180 days of an eight-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.Megan Elaine Patton was given an 11-month, 29-day probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs for simple possession of marijuana.Vanessa Renee Pinegar was instructed to serve 364 days of a four-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for possession of drugs.
