Sentences were handed down in several narcotics cases by Judge Bart Stanley in Circuit Court.Included in drug violations:Michael Vincent Lance was sent to prison for eight years and must pay $2,000 plus costs for promoting the manufacture of meth.Ross Herrin was released on 285 days, time-served and was placed on probation for eight years for possession of methamphetamine. He was also fined $2,000 plus costs.Kyle Lee Melson was directed to serve 180 days of an eight-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for delivery of meth. He will be allowed to enroll in the drug court program.Matthew Daughtery was directed to serve 182 days of a three-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for promoting the manufacture of meth.Patricia Jean Ashburn was ordered to serve 180 days of an eight-year sentence and must pay $2,000 plus costs and may undergo adult recovery court for delivery of meth.Karen Jean Dodd was instructed to serve 172 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $1,100 plus costs for possession of meth, Lyrica and Alprazolam.Matthew O’Neal was given a four-year sentence but will be accepted into the adult recovery program for promoting the manufacture of meth.
