A man who broke into vehicles while his victims were attending church services has been sentenced to eight years in prison.The man, Lucas Winston Hedgecoth, 28, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of theft, burglary of an auto, burglary, and fraudulent use of a credit card. He was directed to serve eight years on the 10 counts to which he entered guilty pleas. His partner in crime during the series of heists, Jamie Nicole Powell, entered guilty pleas several months ago and was given 60 days in jail for her part.Investigators say the couple was responsible for breaking into several vehicles in the Rock Island/ Great Falls Road area.
