A man fleeing the scene of a suspected drug deal in a minivan is facing a battery of charges after he led deputies on a high-speed chase with a child in his car.The suspect, Joshua D. Russell, 31, is charged with child endangerment, reckless endangerment, evading arrest, and driving on a revoked license. He will face hearing May 10.“I, along with other members of the Sheriff’s Department, attempted to stop him after witnessing a transaction believed to be narcotics-related in the parking lot of Mystic Market,” said sheriff’s deputy Jared Jacobs of what prompted the high-speed pursuit. “He fled the scene, nearly striking a Sheriff’s Department vehicle.”Deputies filed in after the 2005 Dodge Caravan as it left the store parking lot.
