The two major Democrats running for Tennessee governor will headline a schedule of high-profile candidates that will appear at Southern Standard/ WCPI political forums in McMinnville this week. Karl Dean and Craig Fitzhugh are both vying for the governor’s office and they will discuss issues crucial to the state this Monday at Warren County Administrative Offices on Locust Street. They will be the first candidates on the schedule at 6 p.m. “We’re pleased these candidates for the highest office in Tennessee think enough of the Warren County voters to appear at our political forum,” said Standard publisher Patricia Zechman.
