This week’s business column makes me feel like I stepped into a time machine and traveled back to 2001, back to the days when bulldozers roamed McMinnville and moved dirt for construction projects.It also got me thinking about time machines in general and what I would do if I had a working time machine at my disposal. Would I go back in time, or would I travel into the future? What would be the better path?I began thinking about the days of yesteryear because there was robust heavy equipment activity on Chancery Street on Friday.
