Operation underway on old hospital

Ken and Melinda Beck have purchased The Frame Peddler at Plaza Shopping Center and renamed it The Mitered Frame. The business will keep its same location, same hours, and same phone number, 473-6700.
The old River Park Hospital is coming down. Demolition crews have been on site for a couple weeks and work is expected to take a couple months before the land is free from a building that’s been slowly caving in on itself.It’s been over four years since Jewel Hale bought the Sparta Street property in July, 2012. He says it’s time to get rid of the old hospital building, which is of no use.
