The downtown bollards continue to create headaches. An 18-wheeler got stuck on a bollard in front of Magness Library on Thursday morning around 8 a.m. and disrupted traffic for about an hour.“We had to redirect traffic at three intersections,” said McMinnville Police Lt. Mark Mara. “It was a big inconvenience for motorists.”Large trucks routinely get stuck on the bollards and require a wrecker to get their wheels free. City officials say the bollards are in place to protect downtown sidewalks and have indicated no plans to remove them.
