A man has been sentenced to half a year in jail for being active on social media, his crime being that he is also a convicted sex offender who was barred from maintaining such sites.The man, Kenneth Wade Bigham, 23, has been found in violation of his agreement with the sexual offender registry. He must serve 180 days of a six-month sentence and pay $600 plus costs.His charge comes after parole officers with the Department of Corrections showed up at his door at a local motel to conduct a surprise monthly visit per the conditions of his release. When they arrived, they found two cellphones in his possession.
