Morrison Elementary math interventionist Stephanie Bess has been named Warren County School’s Certified Employee of the Month.
Bess was nominated by principal Kim Cantrell.
“Having a staff member that can drive a positive climate is a must,” Cantrell said. “This year that driving force has been Stephanie Bess. Stephanie has helped to implement RTI2-B at Morrison. She has been in charge of so many aspects from the expectation posters to the score store to data tractor. She was awarded the RTI2-B School of Recognition by the Tennessee Department of Education and TN Behavior Support Project this year.”
Added Cantrell, “She also drives climate in another way. She is a vital part of our safety team and wrote and received the safe route to school ground. This allows us to obtain safety radios, vests, traffic cones, student incentives as well as programs from the Tennessee Department of Safety for our students. She goes above and beyond her duties and it is greatly recognized.”
The award was given for May.
