A motion to sever was denied by Judge Bart Stanley Wednesday in the case of accused local rapist James Matthew Bell, 55. Bell faces no less than 15 criminal charges including attempted first degree murder, aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping for crimes that occurred in the winter of 2019.
