The Warren County Pioneer Pride Marching Band wants everybody to “just dance” at its shows this season. But before anyone can enjoy the halftime show, there’s an abundance of hard work and sweat behind the scenes.Band director Duane Farnham said the show will include songs like “I Want to Dance with Somebody” and “Sway” and will conclude with “Just Dance” by Lady Gaga. The show will also incorporate a violin and clarinet solo.“The kids have been running, sweating and doing push-ups, but most of all we’ve been march-ing and playing,” said Farnham as band camp neared its conclusion Thursday evening.
