It was the first Autumn Street Fair for vendor Patricia Sullivan, left, who traveled from Rutherford County with her handmade bags.
Saturday’s 22nd annual Autumn Street Fair gave visitors a chance to use The Force.A Stormtrooper was lurking in front of the Bridges of Hope booth to pose for pictures with young Jedi in the community.“Stormtroopers are my favorite,” said Jasper Bryan, whose little brother Corbin clearly disagrees. Corbin is a Darth Vader fan.“We are a ‘Star Wars’ family,” said mom Sandy Bryan. “We all dressed as ‘Star Wars’ characters a couple years ago for Halloween and walked up and down Main Street.”When not under threat from The Empire, visitors to the Autumn Street Fair had a chance to enjoy crafts, music and plenty of food.Vendor Patricia Sullivan made the trip from Rutherford County to sell her handmade handbags in McMinnville for the first time.“We’ve been to Bell Buckle many times, but this is our first time here,” said Sullivan, who spends about 12 hours making one handbag.
