It’s time to prepare for another electrifying production at Park Theater. Dream Reality Group, in partnership with The Park Theatre Group, is announcing open auditions for the upcoming production of “Footloose” for male and female actors, singers and dancers ages 9 and up.

Vickie Myers, stage manager, and Logan Taylor, director, will be managing this production.

Taylor says, “Dream Reality Group is really bigger and better for ‘Footloose.’ We took time off to regroup and rebrand ourselves. But now we are really excited to make this intense production into something great for everyone.”

“Footloose” is one of the most explosive movie musicals in recent memory.

The main character, Ren, and his mother move from Chicago to a small, farming town. Ren is ready for the change of a new school, but not the banishment of music instituted by the local preacher.

Many acts of love and empowerment change this small town and its perspective of dancing and music.

Auditions and callbacks for this production will take place at Warren County High School auditorium Saturday, Aug. 4. Ages 9 through 12 will be at 9 a.m. Ages 13 and up will be at 11 a.m. Callbacks for those asked to attend will be at 2 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork.
People auditioning should bring a current photo.
Every actor under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, but parents are not allowed to watch auditions. Auditions will consist of vocal, dance and cold readings from the script. No preparation or experience is required.

The production will hit the stage in October. For more information, contact
