Auditions announced for local film

McMinnville is on the verge of becoming a movie set and local actors are being sought.An open casting call has been set for Saturday, June 3 for anyone interested in appearing in “If You’re Gone,” a movie which will be filmed in Warren County this summer.Auditions will be held at 115 West Court Square in downtown McMinnville beginning at 10 a.m. Participants are asked to bring a headshot and resume.It will be the third film for director Brittany Goodwin.“There will be an opportunity for several hundred people to get involved,” said Goodwin. “Some of the major roles will be filled by Hollywood actors, or professional actors, but there will be a number of supporting roles available, whether it’s one line or a couple of scenes.”There will also be a need for extras with no speaking roles for people interested in appearing on camera. Goodwin stressed roles are available for people of all ages, including some roles involving entire families.Filming will take place around Warren County in the late summer.
