Applications are now open for the McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce’s leadership development program, Leadership McMinnville, for the Class of 2022. The program is a 10-month course that provides our community with a well-trained source of leaders who are prepared and committed to serving McMinnville and Warren County.
Leadership McMinn-ville aims to form and develop skills, identify community leaders, and motivate them to action, educate through experience, and encourage applicants to actively participate within their community while developing skills and talents.
“Leadership McMinn-ville allows professionals to learn about business and economic development, as well as the ever-present issues in our community in an environment that stimulates connections,” said Dayron Deaton-Owens, Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Professional Develop-ment Division chair. “Skills and talents obtained in Leadership McMinnville can be used across a multitude of professional fields and in ways that strengthen the community.”
The program educates class members on important topics and opportunities in and around McMinnville and Warren County. Applicants will explore topics such as local and state government, education, economic development, criminal justice, health, and human services, and more.
“There are many different valuable and unique learning experiences obtained in Leadership McMinnville that provide emerging leaders the opportunity to shape their careers through real-world engagement across our community,” said Don Vizi, president/CEO of McMinnville-Warren Chamber of Commerce.
Applications are due by Nov. 30, 2021.
