Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center is hoping its animals’ Christmas wishes come true by finding them forever homes this holiday season.

This is the time of year where many animals are finding their forever homes, but some of them aren’t so lucky. Some of the animals at Animal Control get passed over, but they are still hoping to make it a good Christmas for them.

Animal Control is accepting Christmas stockings full of treats for the animals still looking for a family. On Dec. 11, there will be a Christmas celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and everyone is invited to fill a stocking for a dog or cat. Drinks and snacks will also be available for the human guests.

Animal Control director Sherri Bradley says dog and cat treats can be included in the stockings, but they do not allow rawhides. Bigger items like food or dog or cat beds are also welcome.

“We hope we will get new homes for some animals,” said Bradley.

Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center is located at 169 Paws Trail.
