Warren County Commissioners and McMinnville’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen will each be considering measures to retain the Driver Testing Center for the next two years. According to McMinnville Mayor Jimmy Haley, the state has verbally agreed to sign a second agreement to leave the center open if local governments continue to pay rent of $4,000 a month.Local governments would split the cost.“That’s $2,000 a month from the county and $2,000 a month from the city, with the state picking up the rest of the cost,” said Haley. “It’s like $1 a citizen to keep that service open.
