The Highland Rim Beekeepers’ Association has announced its annual basic beekeeping class. This class will be at the LDS Assembly Building at the corner of 562 Shangri La Lane and Highway 55 in McMinnville on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. During the class you will learn all the necessary skills for taking care of a hive of bees including hive construction, feeding, disease and insect prevention, and robbing the hives. Cost for the course is $30.
