McMinnville officials will conduct personal interviews this week with three of the four finalists vying for the open city administrator position.

On Friday, March 29, interviews will be at City Hall at 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Those will be conducted in the conference room on the second floor.

Taking the hot seat first at 8 a.m. will be Kenneth McLawhon of Williamson County.

“I truly do appreciate the opportunity to meet with the mayor and the city’s alderwomen and aldermen on Friday,” said McLawhon. “I’m looking forward to also meeting the staff and having a tour, which I’m certain will be both informative and enjoyable.”

A personal interview will be followed by an employee meet and greet on the third floor. After lunch, he will be escorted on a tour of the city by Police Chief Bryan Denton.

Ken Kelly from Canada will follow at 10 a.m.

“I am excited to meet the mayor, aldermen and staff this week and appreciate the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to the city of McMinnville, its residents and the business community,” said Kelly.

Kelly’s day will begin with a tour with Denton. His personal interview will be followed by lunch and then, an employee meet and greet.

Last, but not least, at 1 p.m. will be Michael Foster. He’s from Clinton County.

“Thank you, Board of Mayor and Aldermen for this opportunity,” said Foster. “Over the last month, I have visited the city of McMinnville with my family and done a great deal of research. It’s a beautiful town that has a lot to offer and it has a tremendous amount of potential for growth. It is my sincere hope the board chooses the person who would be the best fit for the city’s future. I truly wish the other candidates the best of luck.”

His morning will begin with an employee meet and greet, followed by a tour with Denton and lunch.

Brian Wilson, the fourth candidate is from Wisconsin. His interview and tour in McMinnville has yet to be set, due to a scheduling conflict.
