State lawmakers talked about the Tennessee budget, workman’s compensation, and the ongoing meth problem Friday morning during the annual Warren County Legislative Breakfast.But the topic that dominated discussion was widespread education reform that’s currently taking place on Capitol Hill.“The changes we’re trying to implement are not about tackling teachers,” said state Rep. Judd Matheny in addressing education reform. “There is not a single person up there who does not respect our teachers. What we’re trying to do is wake ourselves up and build a more rigorous student.
