A man who barged into his ex-girlfriend’s home and then prevented her from calling police will serve 20 days in jail.The ex-boyfriend, Joshua Aaron Lee, 27, entered guilty pleas to charges of domestic assault and preventing an individual from calling 911. He was ordered by General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to serve 20 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, enter the batterer’s intervention program, and pay $628. The victim in the case must also attend classes if she wants the stay-away order lifted against her ex-boyfriend.Lee’s sentence comes after he refused to leave his ex-girlfriend’s residence.
