Kidd Ford has donated over $60,000 to local schools with its Drive One 4 UR School program over the past three years and that total will continue to grow this Saturday.
A Drive One 4 UR School promotion will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the dealership on Manchester Highway. For every test drive taken, $20 will be donated to Warren County High School’s Project Graduation, up to $6,000.
“We are always excited to help our schools in any way possible,” said Kidd Ford owner Terry Kidd. “The Drive One 4 UR School program is really a win-win for everyone involved. It allows people to make a monetary donation to local schools without spending any money. All it takes is a small time commitment to test drive one of our cars and we will donate $20.”
On display for test drives Saturday will be a number of Lincoln vehicles.
Kidd says that will include the MKZ, which is a small, four-door sedan, the MKS, which is a large, four-door sedan, the MKX, which is a crossover, and the Navigator, which is a large SUV. He says if anyone wants to test drive another vehicle, that’s OK too.
“If they want to test drive one of our Ford trucks, that’s fine with us,” said Kidd. “We’re happy to get people out here to see our products and to take a test drive. That way they can see for themselves how far Ford has come with our competitiveness in the market today.”
It will be the third time Drive One 4 UR School has benefited Project Graduation, which is an all-night party held at McMinnville Civic Center on the night of WCHS graduation. This year, graduation is scheduled for May 25.
Ford first launched its Drive One 4 UR School program in 2007.
